Mothers and over-preparedness can tend to go hand-in-hand—and when it comes to food, you can't really complain.

A video posted to TikTok by Lucia Rose (@luludurham) has gone viral after revealing the elaborate meal her mother brought for her family on a 4-hour train journey. Since the video was posted on June 22, it has received over 565,000 views and over 40,000 likes.

"Not my mom bringing the whole fridge on the train," she captioned the video. "She's extra, but I did appreciate this, I have to admit."

The video shows Rose's mother with a suitcase full of food, along with several large plates, containers of snacks, and a thermos of what appears to be coffee or tea.

In the comments, Rose revealed the elaborate transit menu: homemade turkey meatballs, homemade coleslaw, cheese, plum tomatoes and sourdough bread were packed for the train journey, which she wrote was only four hours long.

Viewers in the comments overwhelmingly agreed. "I do this, last time we did a train trip I took breakfast for the train and a deconstructed Caesar salad we ate for lunch with plates," @m12mme wrote. "It's a mom thing."

"My mom did this for a picnic, it was just us two and she brought enough food for at least six people," @rainydays2017 wrote.

"This is what my daughter expects for a 20 minute journey to my mom's on the train," @supermuddle90 wrote.

"As a mom that loves to feed...the joy on her face and how proud she feels of herself for doing this is so cute and relatable," @brrooookklyn wrote.

Not All Moms Celebrate Food

Some in the comments said the video was a welcome sight after growing up with "almond moms", that is, moms who endorse diet culture and lay on undue pressure to be thin.

The "almond mom" phenomenon, as it is used on social media now, derives from a clip of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, in which supermodel Gigi Hadid tells her mom that she feels weak. Her mom's advice? Chew on a couple of almonds.

"Very healing for those of us who grew up with almond moms," @ama_anita_o commented on the video.

From daughters of almond moms to people who have yet to be mothers themselves, the video served as a kind of beacon for forethought and caregiving: "This is the level of prepared I aspire to be," @bluebearsbestfriend wrote.

"Such a legend, your mom," @komal_kumari86 wrote.
