Donald Trump has told Christians that they “won’t have to” vote again after this election, saying “we’ll have it fixed so good.”

Trump was speaking on Friday night at The Believers’ Summit 2024 at a Turning Point Action event in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“You won’t have to do it anymore, four more years, you know what? It’ll be fixed, it’ll be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore,” Trump said. “You’ve got to get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not going to have to vote.”

He also said that he “accepted” an “apology” from the FBI after the bureau confirmed he had been shot by a bullet during an assassination attempt earlier this month.

Earlier on Friday, the FBI confirmed Trump had been clipped in the ear by a gunman’s bullet 13 days ago at a Pennsylvania rally.

“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle,” the bureau said in a statement.

Vance lashes out at Harris: ‘What the hell have you done to question our loyalty’

Trump’s vice presidential nominee JD Vance lashed out at Kamala Harris during a rally in St Cloud, Minnesota on Saturday night.

“Kamala Harris questioned my loyalty to this country. That’s the word she used – ‘loyalty.’... I’d like to ask the vice president, what has she done to question my loyalty to this country?” he asked. “I served in the United States Marine Corps. I went to Iraq for this country. I built a business for this country, and my running mate took a bullet for this country. So my question to Kamala Harris is, what the hell have you done to question our loyalty to the United States of America?”

‘Trump is old and quite weird’: Harris campaign press releases give trolling a try

Kamala Harris’ campaign team seems to be enjoying its first full week of official promotion for her presidential candidacy, judging by the somewhat colloquial tone of some of its recent press releases.

Statements put out by the newly rebranded Harris for President campaign have attacked both Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance while tapping into internet-speak and popular culture – something the team has quickly become known for.

One release in particular, sent out on Thursday, caught the attention of social media users after describing Donald Trump as, among other things, “old and quite weird.”

“Statement on a 78-Year-Old Criminal’s Fox News Appearance,” the statement was titled. “After watching Fox News this morning we only have one question, is Donald Trump ok?”

Donald Trump spotted without ear bandage for first time since shooting

Donald Trump has been seen in public without a bandage on his right ear for the first time following the assassination attempt against him in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.

The former president was seen bandage-free for his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday. The FBI confirmed on Friday that Trump was hit by a bullet in the ear during the shooting.

Trump was first seen in public after the assassination attempt at the Republican National Convention, where he donned a large white, square ear bandage. Supporters quickly began wearing similar bandages to show their support for the former president.

Trump says he will still hold outdoor rallies after shooting despite Secret Service warnings

Former President Donald Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Saturday morning that he’ll continue holding outdoor rallies even after the attempt on his life on July 13 during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“I WILL CONTINUE TO DO OUTDOOR RALLIES, AND SECRET SERVICE HAS AGREED TO SUBSTANTIALLY STEP UP THEIR OPERATION,” the former president wrote. “THEY ARE VERY CAPABLE OF DOING SO. NO ONE CAN EVER BE ALLOWED TO STOP OR IMPEDE FREE SPEECH OR GATHERING!!!”

This week, Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle stepped down after members of Congress called for her resignation. She announced her decision on Tuesday after admitting that the shooting had been “the most significant operational failure” for the Secret Service in “decades.”

Trump promises ‘big and beautiful rally’ in return to Pennsylvania town where he was shot

Donald Trump said he plans to hold another rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, after a gunman fired an AR-15-style rifle at the former president moments after he stepped on stage in the town on July 13.

In an all-caps message on his Truth Social on Friday, Trump said he will be “going back” for “a big and beautiful rally” to honor a rally attendee who was fatally shot and two others who were critically injured during the assassination attempt.

“WHAT A DAY IT WILL BE — FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT! STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS,” he wrote.

It is unclear whether Trump will return to the same open-air fairgrounds where 20-year-old gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks fired at the former president from a rooftop outside a security perimeter. Secret Service and federal law enforcement officials have repeatedly urged Trump to stop holding campaign rallies outdoors.

Trump was hit by a bullet in the ear during rally shooting, FBI confirms

Former president Donald Trump was clipped in the ear by a gunman’s bullet 13 days ago at a Pennsylvania rally — not a piece of shrapnel or debris kicked up by a round, the FBI announced Friday afternoon.

“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle,” the bureau said in a statement.

Trump quickly replied in a post on his Twitter clone, Truth Social, writing, “I assume that’s the best apology that we’ll get from Director Wray, but it is fully accepted!”

On Thursday, FBI Director Christopher Wray — who Trump appointed during his single term as president — testified before Congress about the July 13 attempt on Trump’s life at a campaign stop near Pittsburgh.
