When Airbnb host Amanda rented her cozy home to a group of young women for a 21st birthday weekend, she couldn't help but feel a little bit anxious.

With countless stories about wild parties and property damage at vacation rentals, she braced herself. But when she returned to the Arkansas property, things could not have been more different.

Not only was her home immaculate, but the four guests had also gone above and beyond—by color-coding her entire bookshelf.

"I've been hosting on Airbnb for a year this month, and I've been lucky with some really amazing guests. But, you just never know what to expect, especially when you hear horror stories about parties and property damage," Amanda, who didn't share her surname, told Newsweek.

"After they checked out, I was so happy to see how clean the house was," she said. "And then I noticed the books. I thought to myself, 'That had to have taken them a while to do!' It was such a thoughtful and unexpected surprise."

Amanda was so delighted by the organized bookshelf that she decided to share it with the world. "I knew others would probably like to see it, so I pulled out my phone and made a video to share on TikTok," she said.

The video quickly gained attention with more than 400,000 views and hundreds of comments from people delighted by the actions of the guests.

It turns out, the group of young women who rented her Airbnb weren't just any guests—they were teachers celebrating a weekend getaway for a birthday.

"I'm so happy they enjoyed the house and took the time to organize the books. I would welcome them back anytime for a free stay if they wanted to return," the delighted host said.

Online, people loved the book-organizing gesture and rushed to share their reactions in the comments.

"So they made that bookshelf iconic.... They definitely deserve a thank you. Those books make that room fabulous," wrote viewer floridadeenie.

Another commenter, Dani Bird, imagined the scene: "I can totally picture a group of adorable young women stumbling in after the bar, too riled up to sleep, & do this together in their sweatpants and smudged bar makeup."

"That is so sweet! I love women!" said Gem Stafford, while TikToker Trisha Coonce said: "The image I'm picturing is both wholesome and hilarious. I bet they had so much fun!"

"Honestly it's iconic," added Christie.
