A video of a man realizing why his hair felt slightly different following a morning shower left viewers cracking up over the mix-up.
In an August 10 TikTok video posted to the account @reedro1, Reed ran his hands through his hair. But he quickly looked back at his hand with confusion. This is not the normal texture his hair usually feels after a shower.
"It wasn't necessarily a 'bad' feeling, I could just tell it was definitely different from the normal Head & Shoulders products I use," he told Newsweek via TikTok.

Reed picked up the cat's shampoo bottle mixed in with his products and ithout thinking or looking at the different bottles, he just grabbed it and put it to use. And as he put it in the caption, the cat "strikes again."
Luckily, this was a one-time accident, which he blamed on his tiredness. Otherwise, viewers questioned how he could have this mix-up given the shape and bright color of the cat's shampoo bottle. Not to mention the fragrance could've been an indicator as well.
"I got up early that morning and went for a super long run, so maybe in my really tired state it just totally slipped my mind and I just blanked and grabbed the wrong bottle," he said.

TikTokers React
The hilarious mix-up quickly gathered attention as the TikTok video brought in over 640,200 views, 53,900 likes and 117 comments as of Tuesday. Some saw no harm in the incident and were curious about the result, but others seemed to be traumatized.
"Okay... but I bet your hair smells divine," said a viewer, while a second added: "Aww now you're twinzies." Too bad the cat seemed a little upset he was using her special product.
On the other hand, a hair expert wrote: "The hairstylist in me is screaming right now."
He isn't the only one who made this mistake. A TikToker commented: "Did this with my dogs shampoo once. Guess my head was going to be flea- and tick-free for two weeks lmao."
And for those wondering if the cat shampoo worked, the owner responded that it was slimy. But he did smell like his cat, which could be a positive or negative depending on the cat.
